Listening with my heart,
allowing my thoughts
to be as they are,
I hold what is here
exactly as it is.
I hold it with love
or I hold it
however I can.
Holding is a powerful coping skill. I spent many years trying so hard to heal a painful past and eating disorder. It wasn’t until I stopped trying so hard to heal and vowed to “hold” whatever needed holding in me for as long as it took, without needing a particular outcome, without needing to be better, that I found the peace I was longing for.
When I hold, I allow whatever I am holding to be exactly as it is, while allowing room for it to naturally transform into something else. It feels like a silent prayer — a deep honoring without force.

Yes, fighting can be exhausting! Sometimes it is better to just let the wind change the current and just ride the waves 😊😊
