Somehow,
in the middle of chaos,
gentle whispers
and subtle knowings
were heard
above the noise
offering guidance
and hope
through quietly
whispered prayers
and leading
straight through
all that couldn’t be
sorted out
on the surface
to an organic,
magical and sacred
journey back
to my own true self
and a life
worth living,
a life no longer focused
on results and manipulation,
but on the sacred honor
of holding
and honoring
the complete mystery
of it
and a vow to
hold steady
in this sacred space
forever.

And so,
with love,
I continued on —
feeling more deeply
just beneath the surface
for the next
needed step —
reaching ahead
and behind —
holding, honoring,
and releasing
every experience
and daring
to be still —
to listen
and to act
out of the sacred space
within my deepest heart.

I was introduced to these writings by my mentor who I contacted after recent events. I find much truth and comfort here. I love finding truth in different places.
I especially like the part about pausing when a lot of people are feeling intense emotions.
