May we trust
in the purity
of love.
And may we be
tucked safely within
our deepest hearts.
Amen.
Quiet Reflections and Prayers
May we trust
in the purity
of love.
And may we be
tucked safely within
our deepest hearts.
Amen.
When the world begins
to feel like too much again,
when we can’t sort
all of the pieces
of our own hearts,
I will whisper a quiet prayer
and dream.
When there are no words
for what is in our hearts,
when there are more questions
than answers,
may we always find
more faith than doubt,
courage to stand,
and strength
to continue on.
Amen.
May we meet each other
in the quiet spaces
within our hearts.
And may we find courage
to listen
and to speak
from this place.
Amen.
When there are no more words,
when we have reached
the place beyond speaking
and listening,
may we find peace
in all that remains
unspoken
in the depths of our hearts.
Amen.
When the world around us
feels like too much,
when we lose our way
and forget the sound
of our own voices,
may we find
just enough courage
to listen
to the quiet whispers
of Love.
Amen.
There is a reaching,
a love,
that clings only
to itself,
a sacred kind of holding —
effortless —
like the words that come
out of wordless prayers —
like lighthouses
standing still,
yet reaching —
sinking down a little deeper
into the calm,
standing still
and reaching —
ever so subtly.
Let us reach
from this place.
I hold what is here.
I hold without needing
to alter my reaction
with force.
I hold.
And I trust —
holding the pure emotion
underneath the stories —
honoring
and holding space
with an ever-deepening love
and gentle reconnection
with this life.
Amen.
I stand still
in honor of
all that needs
a little more holding.
And from this stillness,
from a state of prayer,
I offer this love
as others have done
for me.
Amen.
