And so by grace,

by my own persistence

and a little mystery,

I found way back

to my purest self.

And in the sweetness

of the return,

I didn’t long anymore

to be understood

or accepted

or loved.

I longed only

to somehow share

just a little

of the raw beauty I saw

in everything.
