From A Quiet Prayer

For a while,

I longed for this life

to be neatly sorted —

for a day

when all was resolved.

And then somehow,

from a quiet prayer,

I found I had surrendered

a little more deeply

and stepped out

of my own way.

I had become one

with this life,

in all of its messiness

and all of the subtle beauty

I almost missed.

  1. Less mess for me please. I would like to place my order for less. Wait change that I’ll just take things as they come and long for the subtle softness of life! πŸ˜„
