Whenever things feel to be
a little too much,
I remember
how I found I could
step back
and reset with my soul.
And so I listen
to whatever shows up
right in front of me —
as a prayer.
Quiet Reflections and Prayers
Whenever things feel to be
a little too much,
I remember
how I found I could
step back
and reset with my soul.
And so I listen
to whatever shows up
right in front of me —
as a prayer.
I hold what is here with love
as I am also held with this same love.
I am love.
I am healer.
I honor the sacred journey.

From a quiet prayer, I have reached beyond.
I have embraced the future and the past in a single moment
and returned again to timelessness.
.
I began to listen
a little more deeply,
letting go a little more
of the need
for an outer mirror —
not knowing
if my reflection
would ever be noticed at all —
realizing just how deeply
we are connected
in our hearts
already.
The real me
cannot be fixed
or boxed in
or held too tightly —
nor can it be contained
in rigid form.
I can only be
lightly embraced
and set free.
For a while,
I tried to fill the silence
in my soul.
Now I hold it
as a precious friend.
And I pray I will never forget
the purity of this.
I found a place
in my heart
where I could feel
the purest love.
And I held everything
exactly as it was —
until the most natural thing to do
was to let go.
