For a Moment

There was a

tenderness

that came out of

having dared to

set down everything

I thought I knew,

for a moment —

so that I could

know my own deepest

heart.

  1. I love this. Some days it’s just going from one task to the next without thinking or being. I realize it’s a function of anxiety or fear of being with whatever is in the silence. But it’s so good to practice. Thanks for the gentle reminder.
