Help me to offer
my part.
Guide me gently —
that I may express
what is in my heart
in a way that
is most beneficial
to all.
Let me be the living
prayer I was intended
to be
in the first place.
Amen
Quiet Reflections and Prayers
Help me to offer
my part.
Guide me gently —
that I may express
what is in my heart
in a way that
is most beneficial
to all.
Let me be the living
prayer I was intended
to be
in the first place.
Amen
I hold this world lightly
as a living prayer,
this same quiet prayer
that called out
from within
and healed
my own heart
not so long ago —
the whisper of hope
I once thought
could be lost.
May we be
gently guided.
And may we find
comfort in each step.
Amen
I honor each challenge
overcome today,
each choice to listen
to our hearts
and to each other.
May these gestures
be our stepping stones
to a gentler path.
Amen
A quiet prayer
seemed to rise up
and always led
gently back
to silence,
honoring all
of life —
it’s only wish
to remind all parts
of itself
of its own
one true heart.
I found
moments in time
to be part of
a continuous flow
of life.
Holding these moments
lightly,
no longer needing
to cling
or sort each one
completely,
I began to find
my way back
to my deepest heart —
where there is calm —
where all that is sacred
is held safely
and honored.
There was still pain
in many forms,
but places inside
that had once pulled me
out of this place
and sent me searching
for reprieve
began to disappear
before me —
leaving more and more
space for the deepest
kind of healing
in my heart
and in the world
around me.
I honor all
that has been
dishonored,
misunderstood
or misinterpreted.
I hold this
silent prayer —
that we will
always find our way
back to what is
most pure.
I hold the place
in me
that remains unhealed —
as a gesture of hope —
as proof
that it is possible
to be the unfolding
sacred journey
and wholeness itself —
together.
I offer
this prayer
to my deepest heart
and yours.
Amen
I found peace
in knowing,
without doubt,
that I am
more than what
can be seen
or measured
or labeled
in any way.
I found strength
in standing in
my own story,
honoring stories
of self and others
without needing
to be only that
And so I continued on —
reaching always
for the place
that was most healed —
settling for
nothing less.
There came a time
for the setting down
of seeing only
the surface,
when the call
to listen
to silent prayers
of our hearts
and my own reaching
for truth
could no longer
be ignored.
And so I let go
of tightly held
ideas of how
life should be
and began
to show up
as I was,
as it was,
trusting in the
pull toward wholeness,
however it appeared
on the surface.
This is my prayer today:

Love to all.
When the world
becomes noisy
and our own
quiet prayers
seem most far,
remind us
of the love
that is always
in our hearts
and the strength
found in holding
this love
above all else.
Amen
