Sometimes love calls out,
having seen the beauty
of her own true essence
beneath all things.
Look deeper! She shouts,
only to be pushed aside.
But she remembers
that her voice
is heard most clearly
in a whisper
from her own deepest heart.
And embracing her grief —
as a quiet prayer —
she waits.
