I found beauty
in the listening,
in the sinking down
and holding —
in the willingness
to let go
and witness the unfolding
of this life from within.
Quiet Reflections and Prayers
I found beauty
in the listening,
in the sinking down
and holding —
in the willingness
to let go
and witness the unfolding
of this life from within.
I found peace
in the me that showed up
in each moment,
unconditionally —
to hold a space,
a prayer —
for whatever needed to be
loved into being.
And so I settled in
a little more deeply —
into my own being —
into this life.
And I found
the sweetest kind of peace
in being in the world
and in my heart
in a gentler way —
trusting in a bigger picture
I couldn’t quite see —
holding each tender moment
along my path,
the ones I treasured most,
the ones I would have missed
had life always gone
the way I had wished.
