Letting Go

At a certain point,

I began to set down

the tools I had gathered.

I stopped looking

to gather

and sort

and perfect.

I started showing up

a little more fully

and listening,

a little more attentively,

to the quiet wisdom

within my own heart.

Words As Medicine: I have been using my words as medicine for the parts of me I couldn’t reach in other ways. Often a word or phrase or emotion will come through that comforts those hidden places. I find it comforting to search for words in previous posts or scroll down and choose a post that resonates. There’s something about finding a little magic in the moment, connecting my inner and outer experiences, that has been so healing.
