On the journey
into my heart,
there were words
that couldn’t be written
or shared.
With each one
came a little more
letting go
and the understanding
that it was, in fact,
in the silent spaces,
held and known
in my own heart
alone,
that I found
the deepest connection,
meaning,
and desire to continue on.
I found comfort in knowing
that the words I did write
would always find
their way back
to the silent space
from which they emerged.

Wow this poem really struck a chord with me. And is prompting me to connect into that small, still space today. Thank you gorgeous one, wishing you a spectacular day. Sharon

Yeh so do I. Sometimes I wonder if anyone is even reading it and I have a break, then while I’m having a break I remember why I write – and that it’s nothing to do with other people, and I start writing again. Hahhah π I’ve done that cycle many times, maybe I can stop it now. Hope you’re well. Sharon xooxox
