Quiet Reflections and Prayers
Give me strength to focus
within the quiet prayer —
the one that etched itself
on my heart
and remained steady
as it crumbled —
never doubting for a moment
that I would look past
the shattered image
on the surface
and gather its words again.
Better yet, let me be that prayer.
Amen.
May I always remember
the purity I found
in the presence
of the truest kind
of love
and the sweetness
of its surrender.
May this same love
be reflected
in my own heart
and in yours.
Amen.
When the world around me
becomes so noisy,
when I am overwhelmed
and can’t hear
the quiet whispers
of my own true voice,
let me always remember
the calm
that is in my heart
and the strength
I found there,
in that first courageous step
back.
I hold this space
for all that needs
holding —
in remembrance
of the peace
that we are —
underneath.

Let us remember
the quiet moments,
the ones that leave
notes on our hearts
and hold a space
for love
in its purest form.

If I must choose
a thing to be in this world,
let me be a prayer —
a whisper —
that I might float freely
on the wind
and always find my way
to your heart
and mine.

for sacred spaces

where all is held
safely in love’s embrace.

And so I held on,
watching for a sign
that this world
had not yet forgotten
the sound of its own
true voice.
And as I waited
beneath the noise
and distractions,
my heart let go
of one tiny prayer —
that it might
find its way
to another heart
that had run out of words
before we ran out of hope.
I found peace
in the me that showed up
in each moment,
unconditionally —
to hold a space,
a prayer —
for whatever needed to be
loved into being.
I found my way
to the very center
of my heart.
And within the purity
of love
in that place,
I became
the quiet prayer
that had led me
to that moment
and continued on.
