It didn’t matter
how cold
the world got
because I always
remembered the day
I found
I wasn’t here
all alone —
when without a sound
I began to sense
a love that
could never
not be.
Quiet Reflections and Prayers
It didn’t matter
how cold
the world got
because I always
remembered the day
I found
I wasn’t here
all alone —
when without a sound
I began to sense
a love that
could never
not be.
There came a time
for the setting down
of seeing only
the surface,
when the call
to listen
to silent prayers
of our hearts
and my own reaching
for truth
could no longer
be ignored.
And so I let go
of tightly held
ideas of how
life should be
and began
to show up
as I was,
as it was,
trusting in the
pull toward wholeness,
however it appeared
on the surface.
This is my prayer today:

Love to all.
When the world
becomes noisy
and our own
quiet prayers
seem most far,
remind us
of the love
that is always
in our hearts
and the strength
found in holding
this love
above all else.
Amen
There were moments
when I didn’t know
how I would
keep going.
There was pain
and loneliness
and rejection.
But I found
inside of me
this tiny spark
of hope
that refused
to give up
or settle for
anything less than
the purity of love
in the very center
of our hearts.
And so I hold
this place for you —
forever.
Amen
When the world
becomes noisy
and I can’t fit
all of the pieces
together,
I will stand still
in my heart.
And I will
find comfort —
knowing I am
held with love.
Amen
I found
if I could
reach far enough
without giving up,
at the bottom of
every painful emotion
and experience
was this pure love.
And the way back
into it
was always
straight through.
I hold this space
within my heart
where all things
are naturally honored
and transformed.
Amen
Help me to move
in the way
of the heart.
Free my attention
to be gently guided —
holding unresolved experience
a little longer —
letting go
of unanswered questions —
opening even more
to love.
Amen
Let us remember
the magical power
of words
shared freely
from the heart —
the gentle, mysterious pull
that awakens souls,
transforms human struggles
into quiet prayers,
and carries all things
safely back
as the most precious treasures.
Amen
