When we feel
most lost
and disconnected,
hold us steady.
Remind us we are

Quiet Reflections and Prayers
When we feel
most lost
and disconnected,
hold us steady.
Remind us we are
rooted firmly
and held
in a deeper place.
Amen
May I meet
this world
and the noise
within
with the grace
of knowing
all parts of myself
and the silence
of my own
deepest heart —
underneath.
When I am tempted
to go a different way,
lead me gently
back.
Amen
And so I began
to listen
to a softer voice,
one that seemed
to begin
as a whisper.
And though there was
great shaking
as old ways
faded,
I held on to
the quiet place
in my own heart —
letting go
of all that left.
And though
there was pain
in going this way,
all I remember
is the tenderness
of the gentle whisper
from my own heart
reminding always,
no matter what,
I’m still here.
Healing became
a sacred honor.
I found peace
in reconnecting with
what it really meant
to be alive.
I began to do my part
without a guarantee
or need
for a particular result.
The very act of holding
and honoring
became the focus.
It was in this place
that I found
my deepest comfort
and healing.
This is my prayer today:

Love to all.
When the world
becomes noisy
and I can’t fit
all of the pieces
together,
I will stand still
in my heart.
And I will
find comfort —
knowing I am
held with love.
Amen
I began to listen
to the one
continuous prayer
of my heart.
And though it was
painfully subtle
at times,
I came to know
this quiet prayer
as my deepest
connection
and healing.
I hold this
silent prayer
in my heart –
for there are
no words
to express
what is here.
Amen
I found
if I could
reach far enough
without giving up,
at the bottom of
every painful emotion
and experience
was this pure love.
And the way back
into it
was always
straight through.
When we have reached
the place of
no turning back —
again,
when the road ahead
can’t be seen
and the past seems
to linger a bit too long,
remind us
of the ever-present calm
beneath the surface
and the honor
in holding
this space
for each other.
Amen
