Always In Our Hearts
When the world
becomes noisy
and our own
quiet prayers
seem most far,
remind us
of the love
that is always
in our hearts
and the strength
found in holding
this love
above all else.
Amen
Forever
There were moments
when I didn’t know
how I would
keep going.
There was pain
and loneliness
and rejection.
But I found
inside of me
this tiny spark
of hope
that refused
to give up
or settle for
anything less than
the purity of love
in the very center
of our hearts.
And so I hold
this place for you —
forever.
Amen
From a Quiet Prayer
I found
compassion came
out of a
quiet prayer,
the empty space
that once held
only fixed ideas
of how this life
should be
and kept reaching
until it remembered
how to hold
all of it.
Never Lost
It didn’t matter
so much
after a while
if anyone else
could hear
this quiet prayer
from within
our hearts.
It only mattered
that I knew
it was there —
safely tucked away —
forgotten,
but never lost.
With Love
When the world
becomes noisy
and I can’t fit
all of the pieces
together,
I will stand still
in my heart.
And I will
find comfort —
knowing I am
held with love.

Let me be
quiet
and empty —
that I might
hear the prayer
of my heart.

All That Is Required
Let this life
unfold
as a prayer
and proof
of all that is
beautiful and
mysterious.
Help us
to walk through
all that is required.

Just Enough
When there is
much to sort through,
remind me
to focus within.
Help me
to be present
in this moment —
In my heart.
I know it is
just enough.

My Deepest Healing
I began to listen
to the one
continuous prayer
of my heart.
And though it was
painfully subtle
at times,
I came to know
this quiet prayer
as my deepest
connection
and healing.
