Quiet Reflections and Prayers
No longer needing
to be neatly sorted,
I continued on
in search
of my own
true voice —
honoring all that had
gone before —
following the
painfully subtle
whispers —
gently shedding
all that was
no longer needed —
continuing on
as a prayer
that would forever
find its way.
I hold this
silent prayer
in my heart –
for there are
no words
to express
what is here.
Amen
Remind me
of the magic
found within
the very center
of our hearts,
the silence
that is always here —
that I may find
the thoughts that form
from a deeper me.
Amen
Within the great
unlayering
of my heart
and the holding of
each precious piece,
I found
the most beautiful
treasure —
the gentle,
natural setting down
of all that was
no longer needed —
knowing nothing real
could ever be lost.
I offer this prayer
in quiet surrender
of every last piece
of what I could
never sort alone.
I hold only
this sacred space
in its place —
in honor of
pure love.

I found
if I could
reach far enough
without giving up,
at the bottom of
every painful emotion
and experience
was this pure love.
And the way back
into it
was always
straight through.
Underneath all that appears
on the surface,
I am the space
within my heart.
And I am
the unfolding —
the sacred journey back
to stillness.

Remind me
of the tenderness
in going
my own way –
finding just
enough courage
to trust
my own heart.

I hold this space
within my heart
where all things
are naturally honored
and transformed.

Help me to move

Free my attention
