There was
a beautiful
tenderness
in going my own way —
finding just enough
courage
to trust
my own heart.
Quiet Reflections and Prayers
There was
a beautiful
tenderness
in going my own way —
finding just enough
courage
to trust
my own heart.
Thank you
for gently whispered
prayers and the beauty
found in our one true heart
reaching out
for itself,
refusing to be bound
by lesser things,
daring to see
and embrace
its own true beauty.
Thank you for those who
dare to reach back.
Amen
It’s the stillness
I return to,
where thought arises
in the moment,
taking on
a deeper meaning,
beyond thinking —
where each part
flows into the next,
and I am whole.
There were the most
tender moments
of deep connection.
And there were moments
that were painful
beyond description.
Somehow, I found,
it all returned
to tenderness.
And so I continued
to show up
and participate in life
because I had experienced
the endless struggle
in the search
and the relief in finding
justĀ one word
shared out of this place
that could bridge the gap
in my own heart.
The quieting
continued to deepen.
Outer and inner experiences
were no longer seen
as obstacles,
but as life simply
showing up
as I had witnessed
my own self
showing up
to meet life.
And in this quieting,
there was often
sadness —
as again and again,
I offered up
my whole self
to something other than
what my mind imagined
life to be.
But there was always
great peace.
For the times
when we feel
unable to hold
all of the pieces
of our hearts alone,
remind us of the purity
of a love forgotten
and longed for —
the love that holds
and breathes
life into all things
as a prayer
and trusts us
to hold these
precious pieces
of itself.
Amen
Remind us
of the power
in our willingness
to pause
for a moment —
to go within —
to honor
what is here
as it is —
allowing what is
naturally transforming
and returning to
the quiet space
that is
forever.
Amen
There were no words
to express
the purity of love found
uopn surrendering
each carefully gathered
piece of my own heart.
And so without a word
and nothing left
to hold,
I held the space left
in their place
as quiet prayers.
Let us remember
the natural way
all things appear,
transform,
and fade.
Remind us to
hold each other
lightly —
that we may remember
the gentle way
of our own hearts.
Amen
Let us remember
the magical power
of words
shared freely
from the heart —
the gentle, mysterious pull
that awakens souls,
transforms human struggles
into quiet prayers,
and carries all things
safely back
as the most precious treasures.
Amen
