Prayers

This Wholeness

When there is much

to sort through,

when we are tempted

to contract —

to pick up old habits

of playing small,

remind us

of the wholeness

we are.

Show us the tenderness

at our core

and right in front of us.

Give us courage

to be this space

of wholeness,

unfolding simultaneously

in these human forms.

Thank you.

Amen

Prayers

Let Us Remember

When we have reached

the place

where words can’t go,

when we seem

most separated

by time and distance,

when the way through

all that stands between us

can’t be seen

and all that is known

is the next needed step,

let us remember

the quiet,

often silent prayers,

that led us that far

and continue on.

Amen

Unsorted

Sacred Hope

And so I vow

to live

in a new way,

fully present and grounded,

unafraid to be right here

among all that is

messy and unclear

and uncomfortable,

in surrender

to all that is most healed

in me,

holding space for more healing

and sacred hope

for the transformation

of all that seems unhealable

and unsolvable,

in reverence

of my own experience

and yours.

From A Quiet Prayer

Into the Silent Spaces

At a certain point,

it seemed fitting

to sink down

a little more into

the silent spaces

within my heart,

to reach beyond

the complexities of being

in a healing world.

It seemed most natural

to search for this place

in others,

to let go

of the outdated ideas

of healing and peace

and to show up in a new way —

to embrace the unknown

with honor

and openness —

to become willing to participate

in our own evolution —

trusting the way to be shown.
